Setting Up Your Account

How to create your account, complete your profile, and configure your preferences.

Setting up your BestFarewell account takes a few minutes. Once you're in, the dashboard becomes your central hub for memorials, family management, and planning tools.

Sign Up

Go to the sign-up page and enter your email address and a password. We'll send a verification link to your email. Click the link to confirm your account. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

Verify Your Email

Email verification helps us keep your account secure and lets us reach you about important updates. Click the link in the verification email to complete the process. If the link has expired, you can request a new one from the sign-in page.

Complete Your Profile

After verification, you'll be prompted to complete your profile. Add your name and any optional details you're comfortable sharing. Your profile helps family members recognize you when you're collaborating on memorials or planning together. You can update this information anytime from your account settings.

Set Your Preferences

In account settings you can adjust how BestFarewell looks and behaves. Turn on dark mode if you prefer a darker interface. Choose notification preferences so you control when and how we contact you. These settings are yours to change whenever you like.

Your Dashboard

The dashboard is your home base. From here you can create memorials, manage family members, access the vault, work through the farewell checklist, and open Sage for help. Use the navigation to move between sections. Everything you need is a few clicks away.
