Voice Input
How to use voice input with Sage for hands-free interaction.
Voice input lets you talk to Sage instead of typing. It's useful when your hands are busy, when typing feels difficult, or when speaking feels more natural than writing.
How to Use Voice Input
Open the Sage chat from your dashboard and look for the microphone icon. Tap or click it to start recording. Speak your question or request clearly, then tap again to stop. Sage transcribes what you said and responds with text and, when available, voice playback.
Supported Languages
Voice input works in English and Spanish. Sage detects the language you're speaking and responds in the same language.
How Sage Responds
Sage transcribes your speech and processes it the same way it handles text. Your message appears in the chat, and Sage streams its response in real time. If voice playback is enabled, you can listen to Sage's reply instead of reading it.
Emotional Awareness
Sage is designed to detect emotional context in your voice. It adjusts its tone and pacing based on what it senses—slowing down when things feel heavy, offering reassurance when you need it, and never rushing you through difficult moments.
Tips for Clear Voice Input
Speak in a quiet environment when possible. Hold your device at a comfortable distance so the microphone picks up your voice clearly. Speak at a natural pace; you don't need to rush. If Sage mishears something, you can correct it in a follow-up message. Voice input works best for shorter requests; for longer or more detailed instructions, text may be easier.
