Guided Workflows
How Sage walks you through multi-step tasks like creating memorials and writing obituaries.
Guided workflows are multi-step processes that Sage walks you through one step at a time. Instead of figuring out what to do next on your own, Sage leads you through each part of a task with clear prompts and support.
What Workflows Are Available
Complete memorial creation. Sage guides you from start to finish: choosing a loved one, adding photos, writing the story, and publishing the memorial. You can pause at any step and return later.
Guided obituary writing. Sage helps you structure the obituary, gather the right details, and draft the text. It asks questions to draw out important information and suggests phrasing when words are hard to find.
Family member onboarding. Sage walks you through adding a new family member, defining relationships, and inviting others to join your family account. It keeps the process organized so nothing gets missed.
How to Start a Workflow
You can start a workflow by telling Sage what you want to do. Say something like "I want to create a memorial" or "I need help writing an obituary." Sage will recognize your goal and offer to begin the appropriate workflow.
Sage also suggests workflows based on context. If you mention a loved one who doesn't yet have a memorial, Sage may suggest starting the memorial workflow. If you're new to the platform, it may suggest family onboarding first.
Progress Tracking
If you leave a workflow before finishing, Sage remembers where you stopped. When you return, it can pick up from that point and continue. You don't have to complete everything in one sitting—Sage keeps track so you can move at your own pace.
Workflows are designed to feel supportive, not overwhelming. Each step is broken into manageable pieces, and Sage is there to answer questions and adjust if your situation changes.
