Preview Before Publishing
Use the preview option to see how the obituary will appear to visitors. Check formatting, spacing, and links. Make any edits you need before making it live.
Public vs Private
Choose whether the obituary is public or private. Public obituaries are visible to anyone with the link. Private obituaries are visible only to family members and people you invite. You can change this setting at any time.
The Obituary URL
Each published obituary has its own URL. Copy and share it with newspapers, funeral homes, or social media. The link stays the same even if you edit the content later.
Editing After Publishing
You can edit published obituaries anytime. Changes appear immediately. There’s no need to unpublish—just open the editor, make your updates, and save.
Sharing Options
Share the obituary URL via email, text, or social media. Some families also post it on social accounts or include it in funeral home listings. The obituary remains a permanent record on BestFarewell.
